Somewhat disappointed

Did not find Turbotax 2024 as user friendly as in prior years. Was somewhat underwhelmed with error checks that did not provide clear explanations of where and how to address. Felt like something was noted then I had to do a separate Google search to identify where and how to fix.

Simplicity

Have always used and liked the simplicity of using Turbo Tax. My one complaint is that it states free State tax return however I always have to pay $25 fee, so to me deceiving stating that it is free. Reason why I only gave 4 stars.

Turbo Tax is Forward thinking

Turbo tax is forward thinking. I appreciate how it asks questions based on entries. One thing that's not as straight forward is using help. When I've used the help on specific forms or documents it takes me down a rabbit hole.... frustrating.

Turbo Tax Is Great But Not As Great As It Was

The interview method was good as always. The new format for the incomes was awkward and hard to navigate compared to last year. Most of the 1099s and other forms are not available for download and I kept hitting road blocks and loop backs.
