I have been using this software since they came out many years ago. I use it every year. I used to use it for my small business now I only use it for my home since I am retired. Their phone support is Awesome and is second to none! Five stars all the way and two thumbs up!

Self employed contractor work is not simplified enough. Didn't see an option or explanation when declaring doing questions/courses to earn crypto on sites like robinhood

TurboTax2024, Horrible printing experience

What has turbo tax done this year for preparing 2024 returns that makes printing returns impossible.??? Despite over 2 months of posts on your TurboTax community, there seems to be no interest from Intuit to resolve an ongoing issue that affects everyone using your product.

Still pretty good

Not quite as friendly as past years. Lots of UI problems. Pages didn't always display properly, e.g. couldn't reach the Next button. Lots of double-clicks checking boxes. Unable to go back and review state return.

Turbo Tax is not Convenient and too Expensive

Turbo Tax lacks the ability to file separate state tax returns for people filing together. I never had this issue with previous versions, but this year, 2024, Turbo Tax forces you to purchase and download their desktop software in order to file separate state tax forms. To top it off, you cannot submit these online, you have to mail it in the old fashioned way. Turbo Tax does not ask you this before you start, so I had to input all the information in twice.
My other issue with this software is the cost. Intuit keeps adding bloatware and subscription services to its products. Nothing I found worthwhile, but somehow ended up with last year when I filed with Turbo Tax. I doubt using a real person to complete my taxes would cost me anything more than what I'm already paying and I could avoid the bloatware.
