TurboTax pushing too hard to file on their site.

I have used TurboTax since 2007 and have always been completely satisfied with the application itself. However, each year Intuit/TurboTax makes it increasingly difficult to Purchase the Desktop version. This year, the download was available but I was never directed to the Purchase page, nor given the option. Instead, each time I logged onto the TurboTax/Intuit sites to pay for the download, I was immediately taken to the "Lets get started on your return" site! I had to call customer service to pay for and receive the License key.

I used to pay a CPA over $400 to file my simple taxes. With Turbo tax, I can do them on my own because they walk me through the process!

Like some relationships it started out good then turned sour. Fees... or should I say vig that had to be paid on just about every aspect of the process. That's the kind of thing that made people leave tax services. Not sure I can recommend to a friend.
