Turbo Tax is great!

Turbo Tax is great! The only reason I did not give 5-stars is because there is a charge for filing State returns. Now, with many states offering free electronic filing I feel Turbo Tax should include state filing without charging.
I've used Intuit software for over 40 years, I have always been completely satisfied and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Glitches

I have used TurboTax for years and have been satisfied until now. There were several glitches throughout the process and at the end, I can not print the forms or save as PDF. Trying to get help is pretty impossible and frustrating

This is the second time i've used Turbo Tax. I like that it is thorough and fairly easy to use. If I do get confused about something it doesn't take me long to figure it out.

there is an issued with programming. For RMD there is a portion for dollars and cents that does not use rounding causing an error. The required RMD has the cents and the withdrawal rounds which looks like there was a withdrawal less than the required amount. In our case it was .02 and we were on the phone with Kevin for almost four hours on January 28, 2025. He was very helpful and tried his best. For a solution we went to the actual form and removed the .02 so the amounts matched which worked perfectly. Kevin was so patient and nice. A good learning lesson for all of us. You have a great employee. Thanks Kevin.
