I have used TurboTax for at least a decade. They walk you through each section or allow you to choose which sections apply to you. The explanations are in plain language. Each year they can transfer relevant information from my prior year's return which is handy. The e-filing is straightforward.

Next to impossible to work with on a Mac....definitely will look for alternative next year. Nothing is easy to find...even the save and exit button...very frustrating

i HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR OVER 10 YEARS. IT IS STEP BY STEP EASY TO FOLLOW. I HAVE EVEN TAKEN MY TAXES TO BE DONE, BY A PROFESSIONAL, AFTER I DID TURBO TAX, AND WE CAME OUT WITH THE SAME RESULTS.

529 Plan direct rollover to Roth IRA

TurboTax did not provide guidance with my 529 Plan direct rollover into my Roth IRA. This was a new federal law which went into effect in 2024, and TurboTax did not guide me through correct tax reporting. This transaction is nontaxable. Please correct this deficiency for the 2025 tax year.
