I chose turbo Tax as we have a standard deduction. You used acronyms I didn't understand, and it was not always clear on where I was pulling information from. Thought the federal filing fee was free, but it was not.

some difficulties using TT this year

Most things were clear, able to follow okay. However, I had a very difficult time with 3 items that software of TT didn't really help me with. 1 was how much tax was owed on an unexpected capital gain (found it eventually but was challenging). 1 was understanding why there was such a significant jump in my taxable social security from previous year even though my income was only modestly up. 3rd was likelihood I may have paid my state payment due (WI) twice due to confusion when TT electronically filed. Now, I have to spend time contacting state to cancel the duplicate payment because no where in TT did it say it would make that payment later. It directed me away from TT to my state payment page. I then made my payment only to return to complete my filing on TT and it said it would schedule my state payment similar to my federal one. Frustrated me

Want to know why I cannot delete the WA WFTC page when I obviously do not qualify for it due to my age! I manually reviewed EVERYTHING submitted and cannot find any way to remove that option, which prevented me from E-Filing for WA State
