Turbo Tax is piece of mind

I have done my own taxes for years because my lifestyle is so basic. Basic income from 1 job for me and 1 job for my spouse. Nothing extravagant in our lives and no high end purchases. Turbo Tax helps me do this and makes it very easy to get it done and not have worries about IRS people knocking on my door saying I'm trying to cheat the government somehow.

I have been using this software since it was called Mac-n-Tax in the mid-80's. The switch to download only SUCKS!! (I keep a hard copy of each year in case I need to go back - has come in handy!). In addition this version is VERY hard to navigate in the income section - especially trying to tell it I want to download data from a financial institution. Ended up having to call TS for help with one broker and manually inputting the data for another 1099 ( : < ) !!

The only issue I had was I forgot to enter the IP Pin. After filing my return was rejected. Perhaps a review of the return should have mentioned that. Otherwise, pretty straight forward.

Scan of W2 didn't work even remotely. Very hard to find out how to print copy of state for filing by mail.
