Not good for Washington State residents

This year Turbo Tax sucked. When I was working on the State return, it kept getting hung up on trying to do a state return for Washington, which does not require a return. This has never happened before and I will think twice about using Turbo Tax next year.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax Glitch

I had an issue where TurboTax kept indicating "Needs review" after I entered job-related expenses. Prior years, I always entered them. I understand that the rules have changed for 2025; however, the TurboTax software should not have kept indicating "Needs review"...had me worried that I needed to complete that section. Bad design on TurboTax's part!

Turbo Tax Is AWSOME!!

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1990, I think, it could have been earlier. It's been a long time. I owned a 2 family at the time and since I sold homes for a living I was familiar with the income and expense information that was needed by accountant during tax time. Well, after 3 years of giving him my note book with the precise info he needed and watching him turn each page slowly then just plug the numbers on the tax form I decided " I can do that", and I did. Of course I'd had to pull out the prior years tax return that he filled out so I'd know where to plug in the numbers myself and figure out the work sheets. I was very happy doing this until I heard about Turbo Tax. The first year I used it I was so happy. I finished the taxes in record time. I highly recommend Turbo Tax.

Turbo Tax is pretty painless

There were just a few times when I encountered a term I wasn't familiar with -- for example, RMD (required minimum distribution) -- and would've appreciated some pop-up help. Also, the information about lump sum distributions wasn't as clear as it might've been. Otherwise, as in past years, using TurboTax to file my federal and state taxes was pretty painless.

No more Turbo Tax

We have used Turbo Tax for many years with very few problems. This year, I have to jump through hoops in order to print returns. I have to save to PDF first, then print, then sort through everything to see what I need to mail and what to keep. No easy, print to file, and print for records. I looked online and many people with macbooks are having this issue (from 6 weeks ago and still not fixed). I will never be buying Turbo Tax again.

Great I started online and easily went to desktop version, I do takes for myself and all 3 kids using Turbo Tax I LOVE IT.
