Google pixel is not reliable

Do not buy this phone if you think it will be waterproof! It is not. My Pixel 9 pro is now dead after 6 months of use. After an inspection from Google, they claim it has water damage and want to charge me $900 for a refurbished replacement. My phone may have gotten wet in the rain, but never submerged in water. Google Pixel is dead to me after years of use all the back to nexus. I am stuck with 28 months of payments to make on a dead phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Google Pixel 10 pro is a nice product

The Pixel 10 Pro balances power and practicality. Its battery comfortably lasts a full day with moderate use, and charging is quick—plus the new Pixelsnap wireless charging adds convenience. The camera remains its strongest feature: AI tools like Pro Res Zoom, Camera Coach, and improved Portrait mode make photos sharp and detailed, though video still lags behind rivals. With storage options up to 1TB, there’s plenty of space for photos, videos, and apps.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. So glad I did. I wanted a phone that wasn't oversized. This phone is the perfect size. Love the Google Android OS and AI features. Gemini 3 Pro is awesome. Battery life is very good. Camera takes great pictures. I wish it had more storage but I was able to reduce some apps and pictures.
Overall, solid design. I feel like Google really did a fantastic job engineering this phone.
