Wish I had read other reviews prior to purchasing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally treated myself to a KitchenAid stand mixer for Christmas and love it. However, the "food processor" attachment is very disappointing! Although I have practiced several times, none of the results are appealing. I feel as though too much time and food is wasted with this thing. Now it just sits in the bottom of the closet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used it a few times since purchasing and I am happy with it. Used it to slice up carrots and julienned carrots, sliced cucumber. Shredded mozzarella perfectly and quickly. No complaints from me. Having lupus it makes life a little easier and who doesn't like easy. I would recommend this product.

Don't use it for grating carrots

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a smaller food processor that my husband mostly uses to grate carrots for making carrot cake. It created chunks of carrots and he had to run them through our old food processor to get them to the texture he wanted. It's a great idea, but didn't work as hoped. We haven't tried it on anything else and so can't comment on other uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for chopping onions but will not work on all types of food. Tomatoes get stuck in it and the blade tries to turn and I’m afraid will tear up the motor. Same thing with butternut squash. We are trying to get rid of extra appliances but I guess I will need to keep my slap chop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking forward to my food processor but was disappointed that it did not come with a cutting blade. I still need to keep my old food processor for my chopping activities which I do a lot of.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have all of the attachments for my KitchenAid. This one is not my favorite. It tends to get food caught in the barrel and some of the food comes out mushy. I find it difficult to use and clean.
