This is not a food processor

I was really hoping this was going to be a great purchase. Unfortunately, as has previously been reviewed, this is not a food processor but more of a chopper, and not all that great to be honest. It jams, leaks, and pieces of food gets stuck in areas of the machine that make it difficult to clean out. Disappointing product from Kitchen Aid
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly only used it once. I didn’t like that there is no way to purée and no “catch bowl”. Bought a full food processor in its place (about the same cost). Only accessory from KitchenAid that I didn’t like and keep.

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the food processor attachment in December and have used it only a few times Because it’s not what I know a food processor to be. The feeding tube at the top is Very small. But it does work great for slicing up hard veggies, like for a coleslaw. You can’t use it to pulse flour and butter to make pie crust, like an actual food processor. And it demolished a tomato, making it no good for salsa either. I would definitely market it as a slicer for hard veggies only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doesn't do its most basic function- process! Tell me how am I supposed to make hummus when everything just falls through?!? How do you close the hole so you can actually chop and PROCESS something? What a huge waste of a lot of money. :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchenaid mixer is the best kitchen invention ever, but the food processor attachment is a big disappointment. I was expecting it to work as spectacularly as the mixer but in my opinion it does not.
