Not a real food processor. You will only be able to slice, dice, or grate vegetables.

Not a food processor

I’m disappointed that I bought this to replace my food processor and turns out this is merely a slicer. It does not have the same functional ability as a food processor. i have already discarded my food processor and now I have to go out and purchase one to make sauces and purées.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new processor attachment! It slices every veggie you can throw in it, and it grates cheese like a breeze. I love the fact that I can slice an onion in 10 seconds without shedding a single tear.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have not found a veggie yet that it juliennes well. It has a julienne blade that, at least for me, just crushes things to a pulp. The slicing blade and the shredding blade work exactly as advertised. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely buy it again, although I would get the food processor with the dicing kit included.

2 in 1 Food Pusher Was Cracked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased this attachment early January and when we unpacked it, we found that the round pusher had been shoved into the larger part of the pusher (probably during packing) resulting in a crack in the larger part of the pusher. Would like to have that replaced.

Not worth the money or effort

I purchased this item to help with food prep. I own just about every other kitchenaid stand mixer attachment and this is by far the worst and the biggest waste of money. I can't even get it to work half the time. I think a gear is stripped inside. Very messy...Hard to clean. I wish I hadn't bought it.
