Not a food processor

I bought this 4 months ago, as the plastic on the turntable of my kitchenaid countertop food processor had disintegrated. It was old so I decided to just update. I bought this item. While it slices and dices very well, it is not a food processor in the traditional sense. There is no bowl, therefore all it can do is slice and dice. The food drops out of the bottom so you need a bowl to catch it. It is useless for making dressings, sauces, dips or doughs. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this attachment a couple of times for cutting apples and potatoes. I'm not sure that you can call it a food processor as you have to use another appliance or hand tool to do any kind of mixing. Making an apple crisp is going to dirty more items than when I used my old food processor.

However, I do think to be labeled a true food processor. This product could have an additional feature to make it such. I have a great idea for this!!💡
