Will not engage with the drive

Tried to use this tonight to make salsa, the device fit into the drive shaft, but it’s like it’s not long enough to engage the motor. Not sure if there is an adapter or if it was just made poorly :(

Doesn’t come with dicer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so upset when the picture shows dicing vegetables and there is no dicer. Different attachment that no one carries. KitchenAid should have a dicer to purchase separately.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited 20 years to get this. Had a life altering experience and decided to treat myself. My Thanksgiving was amazing and easy with this. Made baking and cooking seamless. Only wish I had the 4th blade dicing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my but is that in the manual & online I thought it came with all of the attachments or the slicing discs & It does not. I do not have the dicing disc & I cannot seem to find it for sale anywhere by itself. I would use it more than all the other discs!! The manual says that it is in there, but it is NOT!! When I go to find just the disc it is all the other packages but I do not have it in my package! Not sure if it was just left out or whether it was just not included. That is my complaint!! Love this product otherwise but would think about or thoroughly check out what you are getting!!

Disappointed

I was so excited when I received the food processor for my new KitchenAid but was instantly disappointed. After a half of a carrot was chopped, the whole unit started spinning in the hub. Now the KitchenAid logo won’t stay put. I couldn’t have tightened the attachment any more. Yes, this happened first time out of the box. I probably won’t be able to use other attachments as I think the knob isn’t the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No more store bought hash browns!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried using the slicer blades yet but the dicer attachment is great! I've diced cabbage, onions, carrots, garlic gloves and potatoes. The only thing I had trouble with was tomatoes- it made them real watery but still made a good salsa.

Used only a few times and the housing cracked!

I was given the food processor with the accessory disks for Christmas last year. I used the grating disk for some cheddar cheese and the housing cracked on the back of the food processor. This has rendered it useless. The cheese was not frozen. It did function adequately the few times I was able to use it. I guess it will maker a good paperweight.
