[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointed. Doesn't function well. Should have bought the counter model. Takes longer to use that doing by hand. Wish I had returned within the time frame, but thought if I go used to it I would like it.

Not Worth the Hype

I had high hopes for the KitchenAid food processor, especially considering the brand's reputation, but unfortunately, this product did not live up to expectations.
First and foremost, the feed tube is way too small – even something as basic as a cucumber doesn't fit, and trying to process three carrots, as shown in the promotional pictures, is practically impossible. This makes the product not very practical for everyday use in a busy kitchen. No way this was designed by a woman who spends time in the kitchen. As someone who enjoys cooking but doesn't have hours to prep, I found this to be a huge frustration.
Additionally, the processing time is painfully long. For example, it took hours to process a cabbage properly, which is completely unacceptable for a modern food processor.
On a positive note, the colors are nice, and the design is visually appealing, but this doesn’t make up for the poor performance.
I would not recommend this food processor to anyone. It’s simply not practical or efficient for serious kitchen tasks, especially for anyone who needs to prep food quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main complaint is that there seems to be a design flaw in this attachment. No matter if it's apples, onions or potatoes, too much unprocessed food remains in the bowl. Large pieces need to be removed and finished with a knife which defeats the purpose of the tool. This happens with all the slicing blades and at all adjustments. I believe there's too much space between the feeding tube and the disks. (The "harder" the food, the less remains unprocessed: yams produced the best results.) I have several Kitchenaid attachments and this is the first one I'm unhappy with.

Good as a chopper

I should have realized from the pictures, but all this really does is slice and dice things. You don’t get the ability to mix like with a regular bowl food processor. This becomes a 2 step process, chop or shred items into the mixer bowl, then mix with the beater blade. My processor was missing a plastic piece needed for one of the blades. Customer service was very nice on the phone and said he’d send it right out but been waiting over 2 weeks so far. in spite of this, it does slice large items very well and quickly. I coulfn’t get it to chop flimsy items like parsley - just got crushed and stuck in the blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not recommend this to anyone. The opening is so small that you have to cut up whatever you are trying to dics, slice, etc to get a finished product. I don't know what you would use this for......
