[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's kinda oversized for the purpose. I thought it would be a container that I could actually use it as a food processor. But it's more just a slicer & grater. I sadly regret getting it. Otherwise the high quality kitchen aid name stands true with it.
I had high hopes for the KitchenAid food processor, especially considering the brand's reputation, but unfortunately, this product did not live up to expectations.
First and foremost, the feed tube is way too small – even something as basic as a cucumber doesn't fit, and trying to process three carrots, as shown in the promotional pictures, is practically impossible. This makes the product not very practical for everyday use in a busy kitchen. No way this was designed by a woman who spends time in the kitchen. As someone who enjoys cooking but doesn't have hours to prep, I found this to be a huge frustration.
Additionally, the processing time is painfully long. For example, it took hours to process a cabbage properly, which is completely unacceptable for a modern food processor.
On a positive note, the colors are nice, and the design is visually appealing, but this doesn’t make up for the poor performance.
I would not recommend this food processor to anyone. It’s simply not practical or efficient for serious kitchen tasks, especially for anyone who needs to prep food quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a smaller food processor that my husband mostly uses to grate carrots for making carrot cake. It created chunks of carrots and he had to run them through our old food processor to get them to the texture he wanted. It's a great idea, but didn't work as hoped. We haven't tried it on anything else and so can't comment on other uses.

Dicing is good for carrots but not for potatoes or onions. Onions can't get diced at all, potatoes have to be cut in narrow pieces. Generally it doesn't help prep at all.
