Not a Food Processor

This is a glorified food chopper, not a food processor. Can not put liquids into to make sauces or crumbles. You put food in the top and literally chops and falls through... I feel like I should have just bought a slap chop.

Wonderful product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the food processor attachment for my KitchenAid mixer and was skeptical at first. However my 11 year old granddaughter actually took it out of the box and attached it for me and we tried it out. It is fantastic!! Works quickly and almost silently and the slices were perfect! I honestly don't know how I made it without this before!! Lots less chopping and slicing by hand for me. This attachment is truly wonderful! Definitely worth every penny! Absolutely will recommend this to anyone who has a Kitchenaid mixer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible.

Dicing is good for carrots but not for potatoes or onions. Onions can't get diced at all, potatoes have to be cut in narrow pieces. Generally it doesn't help prep at all.

Doesn't work on much

Processes hard things of a uniform size and shape... Poorly. Leafy things, soft things, you know, most things don't go through it and you end up making a huge mess and wasting food, not to mention the atrocious hand cleaning of all the parts that follows. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

very upset because this attachment stopped working

I am so upset because the attachment stopped working after only a few times of use. I bought this several years ago and hardly used it. Finally got to using it and after on 4 times the wheel stopped turning. I have checked and rechecked the position and have made sure the Kitchen Aid mixer is working which it is with other attachments. I am frustrated to say the least after this investment. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. please.

Terrible product

I bought this thinking it would speed up meal prep by slicing and dicing quickly. All it did was get stuck trying to chop carrots and mush the food beyond recognition. I was told to soften the hard vegies in the microwave a bit first. Onions got sliced a bit but most got stuck under the blades and turn to mush. Made a mess of meal time. Such a disappointment and waste of money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
