While I love the way it slices and dices and chops, this is not a food processor and to call it one is misleading. As many others have reviewed previously, now I have to go out and purchase another machine to do what my old processor did. So upset to have spent so much money and now I'm stuck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Super Easy to setup Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer with Food Processor Option for Christmas and both are amazing. The Food Processor is super easy to setup and makes very quick work of slicing hard vegetables like carrots & cucumber.

Just got. Have not used yet. Mine is the "2". Makes cubes. Garden comming in soon. See good use then. Learning to ferment food for storage. Older than canning and simpler. Be able to make artistic looking jars full of food. That's satisfying.
