Eh could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's kinda oversized for the purpose. I thought it would be a container that I could actually use it as a food processor. But it's more just a slicer & grater. I sadly regret getting it. Otherwise the high quality kitchen aid name stands true with it.

Wish I had wrote my review earlier....purchased this about 2 years ago for myself as a splurge for Xmas. I have tried it on different occasions only once again to be disappointed and VERY frustrated.. I am shocked because Kitchen Aid usually does things so well. Here I am 2 years later still wanting that food processor I was promised...keep looking at them, but, after shelling out so much “single momma $$” I feel I can’t justify the purchase. Super bummed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this attachment for my mixer as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it was dropped (moist hands; shredding carrots) and the plastic shattered and a piece broke off. 3 weeks of having this great accessory, so is there a replacement part available?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago and just love it. We have used it to chop carrots, celery, slice potatoes, slice pepperoni, and other stuff. Would recommend to anyone that does a lot of slicing and chopping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a KitchenAid what more can one ask for! I got this for my birthday and it goes great with the rest of my attachments that I have for my mixer. Makes shredding and other features so much easier and not trying to slice and grate by hand.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this attachment twice and was disappointed both times. If I wasn't beyond my return date I'd be taking it back to the store for a refund. As one other reviewer mentioned, the shredder blade leaves large chunks that need to be picked out and finished with a knife. The julienne blade is useless, it's small shreds not a true julienne that is used in most cooking. You can get a much better food processor for half the price. Take my advice and pass on this one.

Mislabeled

This is definitely NOT a food processor. It is an slicer and you still have to cut your vegetables small enough to fit through the mouth of the piece. I wanted to shredded cabbage, so I had to cut a small piece about 1.5 inches X3 inches to be able to fit it through. I would say that if you want an actual food processor get the 10 cups Food processor machine they carry. I think the product is mislabeled and misleading. Too expensive.
