Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to add to my kitchenaid appliances and am very pleased with how easy it is to use and clean. The vegetables are easy to quickly chop and have a meal prepared so much more quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still getting used to the new design. This happens when you have a model that is 10+ years old, and is to be anticipated.
I love the flip lid, I no longer have to have extra space on my limited counterspace to place it while I work .
I realized the shredder attachment was perfect to turn dried peppers into flakes. And I love the new center slide over attachment for it. Great job!

Good, Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, this food processor did not pass the humus test.
I had it side-by-side with my old food processor and each unit got the same ingredients and there was a noticeable difference in the consistency. The KitchenAid's humus was more corse and the other processor's was creamier.
Pros:
- lightweight
- easy to setup and use
- the lid clasping mechanism is well designed
- looks nice
cons
- vibrates more than I'd like when running
- if I'm only making sauces or dips it would be nice to have a lid without the top-loading feature
- not powerful enough to make my humus the correct consistency
I think this a great food processor for light-weight jobs that don't require a more powerful motor. I'd say it is perfect for salsa where you want a more delicate touch. Slicing and chopping are what it does best. Puree, however is outside of its wheelhouse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The design is really great, really good thought put into it. Has a small space to put seasonings in easily while in use. Very easy to turn on, not like the old school food processors. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe on top rack. I’ve made numerous batches of salsa and the consistency is perfect!

Food prep is a cinch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this KitchenAid 7 Cup Food Processor! It has made my meal prepping sooo much easier. I use it to slice, shred, chop, and blend. Making salsa has never been easier! The low, high, and pulse speeds are all you need with this baby. I love that this food processor is super easy to clean because I put everything but the base in my dishwasher. The cord storage under the base is a nice touch. Grating cheese and vegetables is no longer a chore! I highly recommend this KitchenAid Food Processor. It makes the task of food prep a cinch!
