Don't waste your money.

Was given this as a gift a couple of Christmases ago and have only used it 5 or 6 times. Worked great when used but like other reviews have stated, when using recently it just stopped. Seems to be a serious problem with this model from KitchenAid. Contacted customer service before writing this review and all they were able to do was tell me that this unit has only a 30 day warranty. Really ....only 30 days! Thought KitchenAid was a top supplier of kitchen appliances but my expectations of them has now changed greatly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my KA food processor for about 5 months and love it. there are so many great features, stores all blades inside, can detach top easily, can take bowl to ingredients to fill up, very easy to put bowl back on stand, non leakage bowl.what I hate is the small foodpusher that falls out everytime you tip back the lid. I got so frustrated I have just left it off the top.
I am surprised the engineers were not able to fix this problem.
but I am so glad to have this appliance in my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After being diagnosed with MS, thisnis hands down the best kitchen tool I use everyday. I tried cheaper brands like Cuisinart and Hamilton Beach. None can compare to the size, ease and cleanup! Thanks KitchenAid for a valuable tool in making my life easier.

Kitchenaid always comes through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Niece, a baker, suggested a food processor to use when making pie crust. I'm real old school in that I don't use machines to make dough, but thought well why not. I immediately found a Kitchenaid food processor and am Loving it! It's easy to use AND clean. Makes things SO much easier.

Stopped working the 2nd time I used it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It stopped working the 2nd time I used it! I was grating cheese and it just shut off, no warning or indication whatsoever. I made a service appointment online and it was cancelled the day of the appointment hours after waiting and the scheduled time.

SO FAST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a larger food processor for some time. Making 4 batches in my small one was a pain. I can make mash potatoes for the whole family in this, as well as enough soup for all. It fits under the cabinet on my counter which is a plus for me and my small kitchen. No regrets here-great processor!

Perfect for Prepping for Two

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for quick prep of meals everyday. I have a larger food processor for larger meals, doughs, and larger batch jobs. This kitchen aid model is powerful and quiet. I love it for coleslaw and salsas and shredding hard (cold) cheeses and slicing veggies. I highly recommend this size of Kitchenaid for a family of four or fewer.
