Design not really thought out.

The shredder blade should sit higher, so you can shred/slice all the way. The chute should be wider. Since the lid comes off, it be nice if kitchen Aid made an accessory lid with a larger chute. I’ve only used once since I’ve gotten it.

Great Motor, Poor attachments

I purchased this processor over 10 years ago and I believe that the motor will last another 10 years, but the bowl attachment has been replaced 4 times because of cheap plastic parts that break. I never put it in the dishwasher. I really like it but there is a definite problem with the interior workings of the bowl. Motor - good, lid - good, blade - good,
bowl - horrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke Within 2 years

I was loving the product, however, it broke after less than 2 years, and of course, it was out of the warranty. I was so disappointed since I would use it to make oat balls or sauces, nothing out of the ordinary :(

Awesome Products a pleasure to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have never owned a KitchenAid product, I am sold now. We have a large garden, and just did our sweet pumpkins into bread and pies, yum. Had been grinding peppers the old way and now its a pleasure to process them, the time that it saves. I make my own chili powder and the food processor is awesome, I now question myself why did I wait this long. After purchasing this unit we bought a blender with several attachments.... thank you KitchenAid,, your products are awesome

Used it 3 times and the gear that spins the blade stripped out. They do not sell replacement parts will never buy kitchen aid again.

Sadly Disappointed

I received this as a gift from my girls this summer and have used it twice. I got it out to use this morning, Thanksgiving, and as I was pulsing it just STOPPED working NO WARNING! I was soooo upset because I have several KitchenAid products since usually they last forever. This hasn't lasted 4 months. I do not have a receipt as this was a gift, but I'm hoping they will replace this product and stand by their brand.
