i bought it a week ago, used it once and it just stoped working. no smoke no light, just died. just a waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my 7 cup food processor for Christmas this year and I absolutely love it! I used to use a smaller product of a different brand but never got the results I wanted. It always took a long time to process and some shaking of the product as well. My new food processor works quickly and has a great capacity! I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Excellent food processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor was purchased to replace one (different brand) that had given up the ghost after 10 years of loyal service. I'm very pleased with my choice of KitchenAid brand for the replacement. It's easy to use, chops, grinds, purees, quickly and evenly. It's easy to put together and take apart again for cleaning and storage. I'm sold on KitchenAid.

Disappointed

I received this as a gift for Christmas and I used it that day and just tried to use it yesterday with some cheese -less than 8oz and it froze in the middle of the process and as of today it will not work. I used out for the same amount of cheese the first time with no issues. Since it's a gift I don't think that I can use the warranty due to the fact that I nor the purchaser has the receipt so now I just have a nice looking counter ornament which is disappointing because I love kitchenaid, I've had my trusty kitchen aid mixer for 4 years and its still going strong.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Started smoking on first use

Usually I love kitchenaid products, and I was really excited to receive this as a Christmas gift this year. However, on the first use this started spewing terrible smelling smoke around my kitchen. Very disappointed in this product.
