Speed buttons don't stay on.

I received my food processor as a Birthday present. At 65, I was very excited to have my 1st food processor to quickly mix bread and cakes and make homemade peanut butter. The speed buttons don't stay on after my 3rd use. I unplugged and tried again several times but to no avail. So very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really proud of the food processor and had only had the opportunity to use it about six time when it quit. I was following a recipe for cookie bars and halfway through the dough the machine stopped working.

Works Great, Until It Doesn't

I only had this food processor for a little less than 2 and a half years when the motor died. The food processor will no longer turn on and spin. It died while I was grating cheese with the grater attachment. I had hardly used the processor up until that point. A good appliance shouldn't die while being used for its' intended purpose. Since the warranty is only I year I guess I am just out the 90 bucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was a Christmas gift. I asked for a large food processor as I had purchased the small Kitchenaid processor and was really pleased. Finally needed to use and I am happy with the large processer also. Just need to remember to put heavier items in first when processing multiple items at one time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This seven cup food processor has multiple settings and is handy for many things including: slicing, mincing, shredding and purees. The high, low and pulse settings allow you to get your food to the consistency you want it to be. It is easily stored and cleanup is so simple!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it. We had a bigger, heavier one with several blades and we found we didn't use all the blades. It was heavy and all the blades took up a lot of room. This 7 cup is perfect.
