Good Mid Size Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew this KitchenAid 7 Cup Food Processor would be a quality product, but I didn't know I would still be on the lookout for a decent cheese shredder. So far I have chopped onions, celery, carrots, cabbage, and nuts without any major issues. I will admit that my onions and celery were chopped/minced a lot finer then what I was going for. But I imagine that was user error and not the processor messing up. However, shredding cheese is a no go. I still prefer the metal(slice your knuckles off if your not careful) shredder. I realized with a normal 8 ounce block of cheese, cutting it in half will not fit the small opening on top of the bowl. Quartering the block of cheese does fit thru the top though. But this machine is NOT made for shredding cheese. I have tried over and over, and its not possible. The cheese more like crumbles and then clumps back together, which is kind of a let down. With everything else I have chopped up, this KitchenAid Processor has done a good job. It looks sleek, compact, and modern. I like that the extra attachment nests inside the bowl for easy storage. The processor is a tad louder than my last one, maybe it has more power. All in all, I would rate it as a good food processor.

Work horse of a machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the strength and endurance of this machine. It works so well to slice cauliflower and then to chop it for my cauliflower pizza crust.
This is the first processor I own that has a latch to close and the cover fits in a groove. I love these features!
There is a small hole in the insert in the feed tube which is perfect for adding oil when I make homemade mayonnaise.
I like being able to store this unit in one piece since the blade fits inside the bowl even when the knives are in it.
I love, love this processor!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great smaller processor for most processing jobs. It doesn’t take up room on my counter or in my cabinet. One blade does all the work and I like the updates from my much older model. It’s also easy to clean and easy to use.

We are amazed at how many different meals we can make while eating healthy. The food processor comes with easy to understand directions and we were processing everything from healthy salsa dishes to amazing vegetable and fruit side dishes. Also gives us options for sweet treats when we feel like adding a little excitement to our diet!!

It even makes a mean margarita’s and daiquiri’s I strongly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a food processor/ margarita maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay. When I first got this I thought “ok, not expecting much”. But I was pleasantly surprised! There is a back story to my thoughts. I made my grand mother’s pignoli cookie recipe (it’s an Italian cookie and so good). I did not have a food processor and just used a blender. Well, the cookies are made with almond paste, no flour. The texture just wasn’t right. Now I tried it with the food processor!! Talk about a difference! It was so easy to set up and the directions are really super easy- just what I need! I have only used the multipurpose blade for this recipe. The almond paste, which is thick, turned into a fine crumbly mixture, which is exactly what I needed!! I am so so happy with this processor. And clean up is a breeze. Just remove the lid, CAREFULLY remove the blade and wash. I am sure I will be making gramma’s pignoli recipe a lot more often!!

Its built so well i was surprised when i picked it up and it had nice weight to it not cheaply made very well made. Its very powerful it chops without any hesitation has more then enough power to get the job done. I have had a couple food processors but none as nice as this kitchenmaid. I love making cole slaw with it with the provided blade to shreds. its great for salsas dips and what ever else you can imagine it to do. It has a nice large secure handle which makes it easy to pick up with no give in the handle. the blade are super sharp and will chop anything, I can not stress enough how well made this is i see nothing cheep about it and it out performs itself every time. Very easy to clean and store away. i would recommend this product to those who are looking for a very well made food processor And as always kitchen aid creates a fantastic machine , its well worth the price dont hesitate to get this one. It is quiet, powerful, easy to use.
