Non-fluffy rice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know if it’s me and I’m using it wrong or if my cooker has issues, but I haven’t had the “fluffy and delicious” rice that everyone has been raving about. It not only cooks inefficiently, it’s incredibly heavy, and living in a shoebox apartment means that I have to take it out of its spot every time to cook rice/grains. Given that it is so heavy, it makes it a chore and not a versatile swap as I was hoping it would be. I also have a trusty old rice cooker, which is only meant to cook rice, which I find miles better compared to what should’ve been a versatile replacement. Additionally, because it was made to make huge amounts of grains/rice (eight whole cups worth!!), it isn’t practical to use. Really bummed out because versatile appliances are a must when living in a tiny apartment.

I just love this rice cooker and will try other functions that it can do

The versatility is awesome because you not only cook rice it can steam vegetables, fish, etc , soak beans as well. It is so easy to clean, plus very durable. It doesn't have any specific safety features when i used it but my rice came out great.

Great cooker!

The only problem I’ve had is if I don’t level the rice/grain. If not
very level, the rice/grain sticking up does not get cooked well, but that’s because I did follow directions well enough.
I wish the start later option was easier to figure out. If you could choose a time for the item to get done instead of calculating how many hours later to start it.

Great Rice Cooker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this rice and grain cooker! There’s a setting for everything! Dry, rinsed, soaked. Every grain and bean you could want.
To test it out, I made the Power Quinoa Muffins from their suggested recipe book.
(Not particularly relevant to the actual product, but if you use the recipe they provide, I would decrease the amount of quinoa added to maybe 3/4 cup, even for quinoa muffins, it was a bit much.) BUT, the machine cooked the quinoa perfectly, and I could focus on prepping the other ingredients, without worrying about stirring it or anything burning/drying out.

I also cooked dry, unsoaked kidney beans right out of the bag in this machine. (It took about 2 hours, and they came out great and I didn’t have to watch it at all.)
It’s really cool to watch the machine weigh the grain and calculate how much water to add. It’s quiet while cooking and easy to clean.
Cons: it’s a little larger than your average rice cooker, so it takes up a good amount of space on your countertop. But I just leave it in a cupboard and take it out when I need it.
Overall, this is a very cool and versatile product!

Fluffy quinoa miracle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow its a magical machine! I always cook quinoa and had i known this machine makes perfect quinoa I’d have gotten one before. My previous quinoa was sad before and now its happy and fluffy! And so easy, just put the quinoa on the machine, water, press the buttons and let it do its thing! i didn’t have to time, worry, check what was happening (i have been distracted before and burnt it).this machine was amazing

So far l've only used it for rice, but I love not having to measure how much water to put in as the water tank does the measuring for you based on weight. I love that it comes with its own water tank. The appliance itself is smaller than what I expected but works for me. It looks so sleek and pretty on the counter stop. The technology is amazing and it comes with a steam basket as well.
