Nice, but pricey.

I’m not a big fan of plain rice, although my husband is, but it tended to be too sticky or too dry, etc. This appliance does make it easier to make rice and have it come out well. It works as described. It’s easy to use, but I didn’t give it five stars because considering what it is and what it does I believe it’s priced too high. Especially if you don’t get it on sale. It’s nice, but quite pricey. I’d call it a vanity appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple to use, love the auto weighing (no more need for precise measuring in special sized measuring cups (or 3/4 of a cup = “one cup of rice” after you lose that special measuring cup…) which works for either pre soaked or not. It has a much larger capacity than my prior simple / standard rice cooker.
Nice auto water supply and dispensing. Nice, if small, option to steam some vegetables while cooking the rice, grains, or beans.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to give this appliance a five star rating because I am a devoted kitchen aid consumer. You can set the delayed cook 2 hours prior not anything shorter than that? You can’t cook a medium size batch of anything because it will bowl over. When you have a pot of gumbo on the cooktop and you want rice to feed six it’s too much. No more than 10 or so ounces dry or you get the warning. It over cooks even steel cut oats. Regular oatmeal is totally overcooked no matter what the setting. It cooks wonder jasmine and basmati rice in a small batch. I’ve cooked dried beans, oatmeal, steel cut oats, dried limas, and wild rice,jasmine and brown rice. It’s terribly convenient and I love so many things about it. Perhaps a custom setting will be the trick to oatmeal and improve the dried bean cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fist thing this is a beautiful and modern rice cooker. Ist is super easy to use. The digital screen tells you what to do next. It measures the water for you and let's you decide how you want the texture if the rice to be. I love the color and how beautiful it looks on my counter. This is an essential item in the kitchen especially if your household has rice on the menu every night. Thank you soo much Influenster.
