I want to love this baby!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to give this appliance a five star rating because I am a devoted kitchen aid consumer. You can set the delayed cook 2 hours prior not anything shorter than that? You can’t cook a medium size batch of anything because it will bowl over. When you have a pot of gumbo on the cooktop and you want rice to feed six it’s too much. No more than 10 or so ounces dry or you get the warning. It over cooks even steel cut oats. Regular oatmeal is totally overcooked no matter what the setting. It cooks wonder jasmine and basmati rice in a small batch. I’ve cooked dried beans, oatmeal, steel cut oats, dried limas, and wild rice,jasmine and brown rice. It’s terribly convenient and I love so many things about it. Perhaps a custom setting will be the trick to oatmeal and improve the dried bean cooking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy-to-use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fist thing this is a beautiful and modern rice cooker. Ist is super easy to use. The digital screen tells you what to do next. It measures the water for you and let's you decide how you want the texture if the rice to be. I love the color and how beautiful it looks on my counter. This is an essential item in the kitchen especially if your household has rice on the menu every night. Thank you soo much Influenster.

Convenient and cooks like a dream!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first rice cooker I've ever used, and seeing as how easy and convenient it is, I can't imagine making rice on the stove again! We are vegetarian and eat a lot of beans and pulses, many of which I have to soak overnight or cook for extended periods of time. This cooker makes it so easy to do that, and is big enough to accommodate for the entire family! It's very smart and takes away the measuring and watching steps from me. I only wish that the pot part was stainless steel, as I have moved away from using non-stick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been looking at rice cookers for a minute and when I came across this one I was hooked. I’m still learning how to add ingredients and different seasonings but this is pretty straight forward and as easy as it can be. Just add seasoning to the rice and your done as far as adding broths to the rice or beans etc, I’m still playing with the amounts added but even at that you get a perfectly cooked rice every time. Add rice and seasonings, start machine and go about your business. It has features to keep your food warm and a timer delay to start for when you need your food to be done at a specific time, its a set it, forget it, won’t burn your food machine. It’s an awesome product with great features!
