Water tank issues

I have had this product for a few months and it’s been terrible. Every time I start it up the water doesn’t pull into the machine and so it reads error and I have to completely disassemble the product to get it to work every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Well made rice and bean cooker!

This product surprised me. It really makes fantastic beans in a set it and forget it way. You can tell they spent some time on the settings, and you can customize a setting if one of them isn't quite perfect. It made perfect wild rice on the first try. It's really helpful for vegan / vegetarian households. Highly recommended!

Does not work correctly

I got this product for Christmas. I have tried it every week since then (at least 7 times so far). I'm only trying to cook normal white rice. Every time it cooks, there is sticky water running all over the outside of the device, spilling onto the counter and running onto the floor. I'm only trying to cook 1 cup of rice and the manual says it has a capacity of up to 3.6 cups of dry rice. I can't even imagine what that might be like. I take it apart each time and clean all the parts, but no help.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I echo the great reviews left by so many. i have had mine 2 months and i look forward to using it almost every day. it is fun to use. I’m making far healthier meals with a mix of grains and vegetables, and a cinch to clean one pot. Everything has turned out perfectly including black beans going from dried beans to cooked in 1.5 hrs. The warming feature is nice to keep food warm for a period after cooking. Not one complaint!!!

Great little cooker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very glad that I decided to purchase the grain and rice cooker. It is pricey but worth it. I have had the cooker for a month and have made several kinds of rice, beans and grains. It is very easy to use, The Product Guide (which must be downloaded, it isn't included in the packaging) is very detailed with instructions on how to use the appliance, listing minimum and maximum ingredient amounts, cooking and steaming times, step by step instructions on setting up custom cooking cycles, etc. Everything I cooked has come out well; but, you need to experiment to find your preferred texture - soft, regular or firm.
I have very limited counter space; but, at only a little over 13" wide and about 8 pounds, its easy to move from the shelf where it is stored. It is easy to clean and I appreciate the pre-wash cycle.
I highly recommend the grain and rice cooker.

I cannot believe this appliance...I've tried everything!!!! stop top, oven, insta pot... you name it, I've tried it..... and never before have I been able to achieve rice that was tender and either not stick together in starchy, damp clumps or sticking to the cooking vessel. I live at high altitudes, so this came into play... but I've now used this rice cooker 8-10 times, for various rice, and each time it comes out tender, fall apart rice that looks like you see from restaurants..!!!! I wished I could give this product 100 STARS!!!!!!!!!!

I just made the best brown rice of my entire life. I am on weight loss journey. I have had so made fair attempts in make brown rice. It either is too mushy or uncooked. It was really frustrating me. Thing I found this online. It is the answer to my prayers. Best of all I don't have to measure anything. Took me 15 seconds to set up. I cant wait to try grains next!!!! You must purchase this now!
