It is not air tight for more than an hour

This vacuum container doesn’t stay air tight. It is when I first put the lid on and seal it but if I check it in an hour the lid is just sitting on top not sealed at all. A mason jar works better and is much less expensive!

Not properly designed

It keeps the beans fresh, but it's not well designed. Removing air requires twisting the cap repeatedly in opposite directions. The problem is that (i) diameter of the largest canister (which I have) is too large due to which it's hard to hold (unless you have very big hands), and (ii) the plastic is not rough enough due to which the hand slips. Unless I'm missing something these aspects should have been thought of and addressed in the design stage itself. Certainly not worth the price. Very disappointed, can't recommend.

The vacuum leaks after one day

The seal must leak because I am constantly having to re-do the vacuum. I have tried making sure the canister is only half full but nothing seems to help.

Maintains an overnight vacuum 50%-60% of the time, effectively making the product useless.
Will ask Fellow for a replacement top. If the new top also doesn't work will get a refund.

So overall...pretty rad product. I got 2 of the canisters. Unfortunately 1 of the 2 does not hold its suction seal for long. It releases its suction over about a 4 hour period I’ve found. But other then that, the other one is awesome! Just my luck...

Coffee bean storage tips:

These canisters will keep your coffee beans fresher than any other storage system.
Remember when you put freshly roasted beans in the canister, the beans gas off for several days, so you will need to recreate the vacuum every day for three or four days. I just twist mine every morning.
Also, when you twist the lid to create the vacuum, turn the larger bottom canister, not the lid; just hold the lid in place and twist the bottom. Right-handers hold the lid in your right hand, canister in your left, twist with your left hand.
If the lid slips in your hand, just dampen your hand a little with water.
