Only reason this review isn't five stars is that I did have a problem recently where the canister was not holding the vacuum seal over night. It happened two nights in a row. I noticed some small amounts of coffee debris in the rubber seal, cleaned it, and since then it hasn't happened again. Whether that was actually the problem or not I'm not sure, but seems suspect that something so small could cause it to not seal properly.
I love my Atmos vacuum canister. I’d never considered a vacuum for my coffee before until I read about it in the Wall Street Journal. I can taste the difference. Definitely worth the price.
Ergo, easy to use, beautiful, sleek, fresh beans, love the pump -- easy to operate, make it a little game to see if I can activate the green ring before the beans have ground. Fun. Ritual. Thanks.
I picked this up on a whim. I think it is a well constructed canister, and I like the vacuum seal. Spin the top to get it sealed. It takes 10-15 spins to seal which seemed like a lot the first time, but after a couple days I got used to it. Not sure that it works i.e, that vacuum does anything more than just in an airtight container, but I am giving it a go.
