Great Design Simplicity

Simple design concepts are the hardest to think of! For instance why did we not have rubber/plastic coating on the handles of kitchen utensils back in the mid 1950s?
Your vacuum canisters fall into this category. Simple, functional and great design characteristics. Congrats to the designers and engineers.

I didn’t think that a vacuum canister would make that much of a difference in preserving my coffee, but I did notice a sharp decrease in that stale coffee smell + taste after 1 week of storing it in the Atmos compared to storing it in the bag from the roaster. (The canister and bag were opened twice daily to retrieve beans from them)
I purchased the Matte Black version, so the added protection from sunlight might have also helped! (I have no way of measuring that)

Love this canister. Test drove it on a recent self contained camping trip and it worked like a dream. Only thing I hadn’t considered was our change in elevation on the drive from Southern CA to Utah. The canister lost pressure, but our beans still tasted great, despite my not noticing for a day and a half. Next trip I will be more attentive while in transit.

Build quality is great and as far as I can tell it keeps code fresher longer.
My only complaint is that it feels like it takes to many twists to get the canister sealed. I have to twist the lid 20-30 times for the large canister to get pressure. Not sure if a different design would be possible but it would be nice.
Even so I would probably get another one if I need to store more coffee.
