canister great, lids meh

the canister is super, i now have a couple of them and appreciate their form and function. the sipping lids i ordered for my mugs i’m way less impressed with. a gentle tilt puts coffee on way too much of my face and the lid holds coffee so when you take it off it’s a drippy mess. fellow products are so good i was surprised by how much i dislike the lids

issue with the vacuum indicator

The vacuum indicator only worked for the first time. After the first use, the indicator stayed compressed and never popped back up. The vacuum still worked. I just judged it by turning the cap until you can't remove the cap anymore.

Clean lines, lovely on the shelf. You have to be very careful that the seals are spotless because any particle will prevent the seal from holding. It will look like it is sealed but will lose the vacuum over a few hours.

Great canisters for a growing collection

These canisters do a good job of keeping my beans fresh. When you feel it get harder to twist the top, you know there is a good vacuum firmed in the canisters. It would be nice to find a way to mark on these canisters with the type of bean; I’ve not figured out how to do this yet with taking away from the look of the canister. It would be nice to have a slot or label holder of some sort. My cans are black; maybe I should have mixed them up some. The lids work well ( although my recent order had two lids that did not work and they were quickly replaced).
