Movement required = twisting back & forth

Glad to have these. Vacuum sealing requires a repetitive movement, which isn’t a big deal if there is something in the jar taking up most of the space. Otherwise (when the coffee runs low, say), for the largest jar size it can take a while. But overall, I’m glad to have them & they do their job well!

Works well. A bit hard

Works well. A bit hard to open, frankly, and that can be a little irritating when used daily - but so far it appears to hold a vacuum, which is what it is supposed to do. I will put up with a bit of struggle to open if it continues to hold the vacuum, which is the most important requirement. Only used for a few weeks; we will see how it is in a year or two.

I purchased the black vacuum canister, and it is very nice looking and easy to use. The seal is very good.

Nicely made and easy enough to use. I have no idea if creating a vacuum keeps the coffee any fresher than a conventional bell jar.

It's not fair to fault

It's not fair to fault the bigger canister I bought first, because it is a fantastic way to store more coffee, but it was just to0 big for my hands to give it the full turns it needed to seal it. I passed it on to my husband and got the smaller size, with which I am very pleased! So easy to twist a couple of times and see the green dot that says "enough!" I love it!! PS trying to talk my husband into a new grinder next.... ::)

Either of the containers work properly. I am returning them in hopes that the replacements work well. LOVE the grinder but the containers are a fail for me at the moment.
