Seals well, but when trying to open the lid is too slippery, and the seal not completely released so it’s more work than it should be.

Painted steel coffee canisters are sturdy and the evacuation procedure is simple and quick. No complaints but I have only been using them for a few weeks so I have no idea how long the mechanical air movement system will last.

Defective Lid

I am super disappointed! Even though I twisted the lid as instructed and waited for the button to depress showing green, twice when I picked up the canister by the lid it fell open causing my coffee beans to spill all over the kitchen floor. After the first time, I assumed it was my fault and was more careful making sure the lid was on tight. After the second time I stopped using it. It was such a waste of good coffee beans and such a mess to clean up!!

Do not recommend - air shield doesn't hold air out

I bought 3 of the glass canisters, but all of them only hold the air for about 4-5 days max. I bought these to hold air out more than 4-5 days, but when I come back from trips the air shields are off off. It happens with all 3 of brand new canisters. With this high end price, this should last a lot longer. I reached out to Fellow and asked for advise, they told me to clean up the top lid. I did exactly I was told to clean up the filter, and it still gets air in. They shipped the new lid, but it did not hold air out-same 4days max result.
The look is good, but that's all. I am very disappointed about the quality and the service of this product/Fellow regardless the cost and the advertisement.
