great product just installed

Aside from disliking a forced review when I haven't really put the range hood (36" FRHWM5029) through its paces; the hood came very well packed, the installation went smoothly, and the hood looks fantastic on the wall. It is exactly what we wanted. It is heavy - plan on 3 people to hang it on the wall. Pros: It is quieter than I expected. The warming lights are great and should work well (especially for taco Tuesdays). Cons: The LED task light is not dimmable and it's bright. Bit baffled as to the fan controls...hit + and it comes on high, hit - and it comes on high. With this kind of CFM power, I think it would be better if the - started it on low. The stainless backsplash is too short (unless you have counters with that 4" integrated cove backsplash. With granite and a drop in gas cooktop, we had the choice of hanging the hood/warming shelf too low to be useful or having a ~4" gap. The option of a taller backsplash would have been nice.

Amazing high end, commercial grade hood vent. I am extremely disappointed that they do not state it needs to be installed under a cabinet. There is no exhaust pipe cover, so all the duct work is exposed. We are now going to have to buy a separate product to close it all in, At minimum, forno should be selling, an accessory option.
