Perfect size

Underwhelming

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this appliance to have a dedicated ice maker again, as the one in my last fridge had died over the years. This new one technically works but is incredibly slow, and a repairman explained that is this way by design. In other words, the ice maker is designed to be deficient because it uses cheap plastic parts versus metal parts. It takes nearly a week for the ice tray to fill up. Now I need to get a countertop ice maker.

Under normal operation, the ice maker in this model may take 24–48 hours after installation to begin producing ice, and production can vary depending on factors such as freezer temperature, door openings, and overall usage. For optimal performance, we recommend ensuring the freezer temperature is set to around 0°F (-18°C) and confirming that the water supply line is properly connected with good water pressure. Once operating normally, the ice maker should produce ice in regular cycles throughout the day rather than taking several days to fill the bin.
If the ice maker continues to produce ice very slowly, our team would be happy to look into this further with you. Just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to replace a side-by-side appliance (also frigidaire) in a newly purchased home. We previously had a French Door model at another home that we liked, and this smaller counter depth size gave us the options we needed in a smaller footprint where the entry door is opposite the side of the appliance. The gallon door bins and the multiple drawers for the freezer make items easy to access. We are very happy with the model.

Just What I wanted

After 12 years while it still runs, it was time to update. After an extensive search for the best fridge for our home we finally found and agreed upon this Frigidaire model.
I like it because it's nice and simple. It looks like it might have all of the bells and whistles, but it doesn't and that's just what we were looking for. We've had it for a couple of months now and I really don't have any negative things to say about it.
