French Door Refrigerator

Good fit for the area we have for a refrigerator. Major downfall is the LOUD sound the water supply makes periodically for the ice maker.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator perfectly fits the space we had available and is meeting our needs as we expected. There are two relatively minor issues: 1) there is no meat/cheese drawer so we had to buy containers; 2) there occasionally is a loud bang noise when opening the freezer drawer which may be attributed to the ice cube compartment.

Good value but

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a Whirlpool due to the many defects and problems (mainly the compressor decided to slowly die at year 7). The Frigidaire is a little smaller but efficient. Had to get used to not having extra drawer space in the fridge and not having a light in the freezer. Bought some fridge bins at a local store so now everything is nicely organized.
One thing I do not like is that the model claims is that it is counter depth, but due to the ice making tubes etc at the back, I cannot make it flush with my counter. Also, where my fridge is placed, one side is exposed and strangely, about 3 inches of the water line is visible and other metal is exposed because the housing (or sides) of the fridge does not extend all the way to the back. I didn't know this in the store because we never pulled it out to see. Assumed that none of the working mechanisms would be visible from the side. Oh well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator seems to be well designed for storage. the drawer units in the freezer work well and even though the shelves do not move, the placement seems to work well. The only complaint that I have is that I wish it were more energy efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is so wonderful because it is very roomy without overtaking the space. It is ideal for a small to medium kitchen. The door trays are sturdy and provide great storage. I am easily fitting in a dozen soda cans, gallon milk, a gallon of tea with tons of room left over for containers, etc...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was looking for a frig that would fit under cabinets in an older home and this is the one! Also like the cabinet depth sits back several inches from where the old one sat. May only be 17.6 cubic feet but has ample space inside.
