[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a smaller refrigerator to fit our existing kitchen. This refrigerator has the features of larger ones in a smaller package. The refrigerator will still hold a large quantity of food and the interior of the refrigerator and freezer are arranged to maximize storage.

LOVE IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't sure if this size would work, replacing a 28 cu. Ft. samsung. It has worked perfectly, in fact, I like it better. I can fit everything I need into it, bottles of wine, 2 gallons of milk, plenty of room. I can find everything easier and don't have to search. It is very quiet and keeps everything the perfect temp without adjustments. The ice maker is great, a nice sized bin with plenty of ice for us. The frig is quiet and well thought out. No need to adjust any shelves as everything fits. Couldn't be happier with this purchase, a much needed improvement for my kitchen with the counter depth size, makes my kitchen look bigger, too! So happy we chose this refrigerator.

Your icemaker will produce approximately 2 to 2.5 pounds of ice every 24 hours depending on usage conditions. If you aren't producing this volume of ice, you want to make sure that your water valve is completely open and that you do not have low water pressure.

17.6 Cu. ft. counter-depth French door Frigidaire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like my new Frigidaire, is alot more spacious than we thought, like the bright white lighting and like all the drawer space in freezer. We needed this size refrigerator especially the hight because of the cupboard above, it fits just right. Also like the way the outside cleans up easily, no fingerprints.

Much better than I expected, so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had extreme space constraints for the new refrigerator - 31" wide, 67" high and as close to counter depth as possible. There are almost no models on the market satisfying these constraints, especially not sleek, modern-looking ones such as this model. I also would have preferred no electronics (impossible) and failing that, no Bluetooth or internet connectivity - that lack in this model a feature for me. I also would have preferred no ice maker, which this model has. I had other reservations too, as never had a French door model before and preferred a top freezer. Nonetheless, took the plunge, and so far am happy I did.
It has virtually the same space as the 18cf model it replaced. The dual-zone (refrig and freezer) temp controls seem accurate. It is extremely quiet. The lighting in the refrig section is very good. Too soon to say to what degree it saves electricity compared to the old one. I am not using the ice maker so cannot comment on that.
The main feature it lacks that I miss from the old one is a built-in deli drawer and butter compartment. There are after-market ones which I may try, but built-in would have been preferable. Also, lighting in the freezer compartment would have been nice.
Be aware that the sides do not extend all the way to the back. The back corners have a 45 degree triangle cut out of them for the full height, about 3 inches on a side. This doesn't matter if it is surrounded by cabinetry, but if, as in my case, a side is exposed, this cutout (which is unsightly) will be exposed. I am handy, I will make some kind of baffle to hide this.
Now I just have to hope the refrig is reliable and has a long life. I doubt I'll get the 26 years with no repairs the old one delivered, but I hope it is at least half that.

What no freezer light?

Like many others we chose this refrigerator because of space limitations. We we looked at it in the store it wasn’t plugged in and we never thought to ask if it had a light, just assumed that would be standard. It was delivered yesterday AM and we where very disappointed in not noticing the lack of a freezer light. Had we noticed it would have swayed our decision to another brand.
