TOO MUCH TOO SOON

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far (one week in) I do love my new refrigerator. My old, discarded side by side was 18 years old. I don’t know why the chest freezer on the bottom was done away with back in the day but am glad it's back. Frankly three or four emails in the first week of ownership is a bit much. If I am not happy with any aspect in the next 6 months I will certainly let you know!!

Great Fridge!

It looks sleek and much better than the random one that was there when we bought our place. The delivery and haul away experience left something to be desired to say the least, but we absolutely love our fridge!

New refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this size refrigerator as it needed to fit a space to replace our older Frigidaire that was 29 years old. The cubic ft. Listed on line was 18.1 and when refrigerator arrived the label said 17.6 which I first thought it was the wrong one but found out that is the way it is advertised, an outside cu. Ft and inside cu. Ft. Which I think is misleading, but I like the refrigerator overall. The only thing I would complain about is that there is no light in the pull out freezer drawer. Otherwise it is a very nice refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my late 90s refrigerator with this Frigidaire model. After extensive research, this was literally the only refrigerator in my price range that would fit height wise without me having to remove the above cabinet.
So far it’s been a good purchase. It makes sufficient quantities of ice, keeps the food at the optimal temperature and looks nice while doing it.
Every so often it makes a soft and slight screeching noise while filling. My only other critique is that it does not have an open door alarm. Now, of course, my older model did not however, the door on that old one was heavy enough that it was never an issue. Twice, I have found that the refrigerator was slightly a jar as there is a small slot that one door must fit into or the door doesn’t close all the way. You don’t really notice it until you’re standing directly in front of it in the doors looks slightly askew. Well, a door a jar alarm is something I’ve never had before on this particular model. I think it would be a great addition.
Other than that, it has plenty of room to suit the needs of our small family and it has an icemaker, but no drinking water. Which is exactly what I wanted.
