[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this model Frigidaire refrigerator last summer. It satisfied a need that I had for a counter depth model and a preference for a bottom freezer. . I wasn't sure about the capacity being enough for my needs since I had been living with a 24.7 cubic foot side by side monster for 20 years. Here are my conclusions based on 8 months of use:
The freezer compartment is well organized with 3 separate storage compartments
All doors and moving parts function smoothly and quietly
The double-door refrigeration compartment offers a really wide and complete field of view. Counter depth reveals all of your food at eye level. There is no more reaching and fumbling for items which have disappeared to the back.
The air filter if well-positioned and actually works - no more nasty odors or open boxes of baking soda.
The 17.6 cubic foot capacity easily holds more than my previous 24.7 unit. This is due to a terrific design layout.
It is very easy to clean up any spills also due to the intelligent design.
Best of all, it fit my budget. Almost all other counter depth models are priced significantly higher.

Poor door bin design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire decided to go cheap on the supports for the upper door bin. Two small hollow plastic pieces hold the bin in place. After 13 months the bin literally fell out. These two small pieces have compressed and no longer can hold the bin in place. The same thing is occurring on the other door. The fix is to replace the ENTIRE door. How can this be cost effective? And, if they have not changed the design, this will be a perennial problem.

This is the best designed refrigerator we have ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bottom freezer and the two French doors is without doubt the most convenient and intelligent design. Bright lights when you open the door makes seeing everything easy. Separate drawers in the freezer and the ice maker are well designed. Now if it doesn't break down we will never buy another refrigerator.
