The Cold Queen of My Kitchen Kingdom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me tell you about the Frigidaire 17.6 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator—aka Sir Chill-a-Lot, the majestic icebox that now rules my kitchen like a frosty monarch.
First off, the counter-depth design? Chef’s kiss. It fits so perfectly you’d think my kitchen was born around it. Like, did I install a fridge, or summon a perfectly sculpted appliance angel who moonlights as an interior designer? Guests walk in and whisper, “Is that built-in?” Yes, Karen. Yes, it is. (It’s not.)
Now let’s talk French doors. Every time I open them, I feel like I’m revealing a surprise feast at Versailles. One side cheese, the other side hope. There’s enough space in here to store every kind of hummus I panic-bought during my last emotional grocery trip. I once opened it just to feel something.
The freezer drawer on the bottom? Revolutionary. No more standing with the fridge open for 10 minutes like I’m contemplating the universe. It’s all organized, visible, and ice-cold—not unlike my last relationship.
Bonus points for the LED lighting which is so bright and beautiful, it made my leftovers look like gourmet meals in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I caught myself whispering "Wow" to a Tupperware of spaghetti.
In short: if Beyoncé were a refrigerator, she'd be this one. Regal, sleek, efficient, and absolutely unbothered by your sad produce.
Buy it. Worship it. Chill with it. Long live the Fridge Queen.

Simple and small fridge great for a small kitchen

It works great in my small kitchen, and as a single Dad with part time custody I don't need to store a lot of food. The freezer space is well thought out with drawers for easy and unique organization. There is a water filter for the ice maker but no water dispenser with this model.

Solid Utility for a compact Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm quite happy with the functionality and aesthetics of this fridge. We needed something more compact due to space constraints and this fit the bill perfectly. While the fridge area is slightly smaller than my outgoing unit, the freezer is definitely larger.
First off, the utility of not having to crouch down to reach items in the fridge is a win by me. It's not only physiologically convenient but makes organizing a breeze. The freezer does require bending, but the layout of the freezer drawers and bin is very intuitive and easy to work with that I see it as a net positive.
Second, the fridge controls are intuitive, well labeled and easy to use. The various functions and features are nice and add a level of versatility over my old unit.
Third, the lighting, layout and overall aesthetics are on point. Clean lines and sensible shelving and bins make this fridge organizer friendly.
Lastly, there are some features that I felt could have made this fridge better. In my old unit we had, in addition to crispers, meat and cheese drawers in the bottom shelf. It would have been nice to have one or two small drawers in the fridge section as well. Also, the bin placement on the doors could have been a little better. While there are options for customizing the placement of some bins I found installation of the bins to be cumbersome. Alas, I was not able to get the bins in my preferred layout but this is a minor detraction from the overall utility.
Ultimately, this is an excellent fridge and I would recommend it to others.
