My last refrigerator (not Frigidaire) needed a major repair after 4 yrs.
The repair lasted for 2yrs and again needed a major repair . That second repair lasted 4 days.

My new Frigidaire is great so far. If fits nicely in my small kitchen and works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think this is a great fridge. But recently the Ice Maker quit making Ice. Did all the trouble shooting to find the problem with negative results. Finally decided to defrost the freezer. I was under the impression that this fridge was auto defrost but couldn't find anything on it through the manual. Unpluged the fridge opened the freezer; removed the door and bins; wiped everything down and dried with a towel and let it sit for 12 hours. Then put everything back together and plugged it back in. It now seems to be functioning properly. This fridge was a gift in June 2023 as we moved in with our Daughter and Son-in-Law.Just seems odd that the ice maker should stop working in less than a year and there were no instructions or suggests on what to do if the trouble shooting tips fail to solve the problem. Nothing either about how to defrost.

We seem to have a great chance to improve your experience with us. Here is a possible solution for no ice, we can perform these basic troubleshooting workarounds called Auger Fix.
1. Switch the Control (UI) Panel to CRUSHED.
2. Remove the ice bucket and close freezer door.
3. Next, continuously press down the dispenser paddle for 2-minute intervals
(Releasing the paddle and then pressing the paddle again) for a total of 3 times (6 minutes total).
This will melt and evaporate any ice around the auger motor shaft.
4. Switch the control (UI) panel to CUBE. Then, reinsert the ice bucket, close the door and attempt to dispense ice again.

Just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced an older fridge that the previous homeowner had in a too small space. This unit is fairly minimal while still feeling like a serious kitchen appliance. I would have liked the doors to self close a little more easily, but it’s not a huge issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new fridge! I love the double doors, and having the freezer on the bottom is awesome. The stainless is a nice change from my old “beige” appliances, it’s easy to clean, and fingerprints don’t show on it.
