Our New Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the refrigerator fine, but it makes a loud noise every now and then. We didn’t hook up the ice maker because we have a stand alone ice machine. I’m not sure if it’s for that reason but it’s definitely aggravating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The door alarm has not worked since day one, try calling Frigidare and they are clueless and give you phone numbers to hire someone, really for a brand new unit?

Review of 17.6 cu ft French Door Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the fridge for about 1 month and are happy so far. There is plenty of room in the refrigerator part and it works well and is quiet. There one annoying thing though, when I open the freezer drawer there is a single loud banging noise. I've tried to find the cause but haven't been able to so far. I'm afraid some part is wearing badly and I won't find it until it breaks. Other than the clunking noise, everything is fine and we are happy with our purchase.

Solid Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this fridge today and appears to be of good quality. Jury is out about longevity and warranty support. I do like the crisper, water and air filter located inside the fridge. Temp\controls are easily read and adjusted. Freezer section has three compartments and ice maker reservoir is a good size and does not take up too much room inside the freezer. Two things I noticed I wish it had, door alarm and light in the freezer.
For the money it is a good buy.

Perfect size and works great

Long story short we got a stainless steel 33 inch wide with French doors and bottom freezer. Fit our space perfectly. More room than our former fridge. Great icemaker, which we didn't have before. Love it!!

Nice on the surface but problems are arising

I've not even had my fridge a week and I'm beginning to regret my purchase... On the surface it looks great in my kitchen. This is actually a smaller unit than my previous fridge yet space is better utilized for storage. However, I quickly (but not within 48 hours...) realized the door ajar alarm isn't working. After the 5 minutes are up as mentioned in the manual, the light simply goes off but no alarm sounds. Now I get to look forward to warranty calls, service visits and hoping this seeming minor problem can be easily fixed...
