Disappointed

Poor shelving

The look of the fridge is nice;however, the French doors and shelving in the door are terrible. I broke one of the shelves trying to get them in. The smallest shelf is the worst b/c it continues to slide forward. There is no locking in place mechanism like the other two larger shelves.

Counter depth great for short people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm only 4'8" and I love this fridge! I can reach the back of the top shelf, which is why I picked this one. Keeps everything nice and cold.
I removed 1 star for the freezer. With all the drawers it's hard to fit everything, Other than that its fine.

Bad shelf design, slow with Ice but quieter than GE!

The fridge itself is good. I recently bought a GE for another home, and was unhappy with the noise level. I bought the Frigidaire in hope of it being much quieter…it is!
The shelves are installed by you, and the design is fairly poor. Once they are seated, if I pick an item from the shelf, most times the entire shelf comes loose and falls off? Bad design there.
The ice maker is very slow to make ice also, which can be an issue in Florida when you want cold drinks.
Overall, it’s fine for my rental unit….the shelf would be maddening if I used it daily.

Your ice maker will produce approximately 2 to 2.5 pounds of ice every 24 hours depending on usage conditions. In regard to your shelves, they have mounting brackets that attach to slotted supports at the rear of each compartment. Please confirm they are properly attached, this information can be located on page 18 of your Use & Care Guide. -Corletta

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance is exactly what we were looking for. Most other refrigerators were too wide or too tall for our space. This fits perfectly, it was available in chrome and the price was reasonable. Two disadvantages though are no light in freezer and no ice maker in the door. There is an automatic ice maker in the freezer however. For just my husband and I this refrigerator holds enough. We are very satisfied.
