shines a light on what old vac is missing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough good things about the Bissell Power Clean FurFinder. One day after a particularly messy snack, I was vacuuming and getting frustrated with my stick vacuum pushing the crumbs around when I remembered that I had just been sent the Bissell vacuum. I turned it on (it’s very intuitive) and started vacuuming. I was not ready to see just how dirty my house was. Even though I had just vacuumed, this vacuum perfectly illuminates every speck of dust and crumb, but the best part is, it then just sucks it all up in one pass through.
The first time you use this vacuum, make sure to build in lots of extra time because you will find yourself vacuuming in all new places. Once you see what filth lies beneath, you’ll never unsee it. I was so grossed out by how dirty my floor was that I was moving appliances and furniture out of the way. I never thought I would be getting such a thrill out of vacuuming. I liked to do a second pass because the before and after was so satisfying. My house is always relatively clean (or at least I thought it was) so I never really felt like I was doing much when I’d vacuum. It was so great that the light shows me where I missed and now I know that my house is truly clean.
Somehow I didn’t run out of battery and I was able to clean my whole house without even needing the higher suction. The best part is I only have to hit the power button once and it stays on. No more finger fatigue while vacuuming. It did fine on all the different surfaces of my house and was really good at getting all the cat and dog hair.

Heavy but Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vac packs some serious power! Overall it’s my favorite cordless vac I’ve ever had. The FurFinder tool has been a life saver for removing embedded pet hair from my furniture, pet beds, and floors. We have a black long haired cat and a yellow lab. We have A LOT of hair! Switching to this vac has for sure made a noticeable difference in my cleaning routine. We need to vacuum twice a day with our lab and cat. One of the biggest perks is the light which really helps to illuminate hidden hair & crumbs. In addition to the pets we also have a preschooler so we also tackle a lot of crumbs. The headlights help us get all the hair and dirt during our daily vacs. The fact that it also stands up straight on its own is a huge selling feature. My other stick vacs never stood up on their own so this one is a huge upgrade. The only feature I would change is the battery life. With our pet hair needs I need to vac on the highest suction power which means we can’t quite get through the whole house on one charge. For reference we have a single story 1,800 sq ft. We can get all but the master bedroom. You can purchase a second battery which would be necessary if you have a larger home and like to use the highest suction power like we do. Overall just a fantastic vac.

Excellent vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble and use! With 2 big dogs I need all the help I can get. This vacuum got so much hair out of the upholstery and floors! The lights make it so you see more fluff balls under tables and other surfaces.
I appreciate the tangle free brush as well!

Good outweighs the less convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok first of all I LOVE this vacuum. It feels very sturdy and well made. I love that it can stand up on its own. I love the way you empty the tank. I love that the primary roller head can smoothly go from carpet to hard flooring without changing heads or making weird sounds and doing a great job on both surfaces. I didn’t think I would like the light but I actually LOVE it. I don’t understand how I’ve been vacuuming without it this whole time. The fur finder tool is wild. I had recently vacuumed and went over it again with this and got a lot more than expected.
The main drawback for me is how heavy it is. I cannot use the shorter attachment tools one handed to clean crevices in the couch. I need two hands to support the weight of it and then I can’t spread the cushions well enough. I also really wish the handle was telescoping. Especially using the fur finder tool. I used a bit of elbow grease while doing it to really get in there and you really have to stoop down to get at the right angle. If the tube part could extend, you’d be able to stand up straight AND you’d have better leverage on it. I also kinda wish there were a couple more tools with it.

Bissell Powerclean Furfinder

It’s been fantastic on all the surfaces in my home — hardwood floors, rugs, and carpet — and it handles them all with ease. I especially love that it’s cordless, making it super convenient to grab for quick clean-ups or more in-depth cleaning sessions. It’s been a game-changer for picking up dog hair around the house, and with pets, that’s no small task!
The only small downside is that it didn’t do as well picking up stubborn dog hair in my car’s trunk — but honestly, I haven’t found *any* everyday vacuum that can handle that challenge, so it doesn’t bother me much. For everything else in the house, this vacuum delivers exactly what I need. Highly recommend!

Does the trick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two dogs, medium and large. They shed like crazy, all times of the year. It’s everywhere. Constantly. It never fully gets out of my rugs or furniture. I was sooo impressed by this vacuum cleaner. I definitely felt like it specifically targeted all the pet hair while still being an overall good vacuum cleaner. It was light weight and easy to maneuver. The lights definitely help me see all the hairs which makes me crazy to see all the hairs but can clearly see how much it’s cleaning up!! It’s definitely my go to and I think will save me lots of time.

Bissell stick vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the vacuum it was very light and easy to set up. After using it a few times there are some key features I really liked. I enjoyed the fact that there is an on/off button and how light the vacuum felt while pushing it around. There is a good amount of pull from the vacuum so you’re not filling pushing it yourself. I also loved the vacuum stands on its own. I can prop it up and walk away while cleaning without worrying it’s going to fall over. The light is a great feature as well to really make sure you get every last hair and crumb. The included attachments were a nice addition as well! The canister is a tad small but it’s easy to empty and keep clean. It is a great vacuum for hardwood and getting pet hair off the floor!

Great features but needs more power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: the lights are amazing! Especially because I often vacuum at night and we have two cats, so lots of fur. It’s very satisfying to see the hair disappear. However, it’s not that efficient (see cons). The handheld with the upholstery attachment is great for our couches, which are microfiber. The long attachment for the handheld is great for getting under the couches.
Cons: since I can see the hair, I can very clearly see that I need to do several passes to get it all. It doesn’t matter if I use the lower or higher power options, I still have the same issue. For a very low pile area rug, I found it kind of just pushes the hair around. This speaks to how well the brushless head works to dig up hair, but it’s just not powerful enough to suck it up. Lastly, if you don’t mount this to the wall, it is very wobbly on its own.
I am torn, because I love having a cordless option for a quick run that I can do more often, but it just doesn’t have the power needed to get the area rugs clean. I have two other corded Bissel vacuums, which do have enough power for rugs, but no lights and very heavy. I have yet to find the perfect vacuum!
