Fur Finding Beast of a Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting to love the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder as much as I do, but here we are. First off—headlights. Real, functional headlights that light up every last pet hair hiding in the shadows. Super satisfying to actually see the fur get picked up. We have a dog and 2 cats, so there’s a lot of fur floating around here.
This thing pulled up a ridiculous amount of fur that my other vacuum (named after an aquatic animal) apparently decided to leave behind. It’s also cordless (woo!), which makes zipping around the house way easier. Just be aware that the battery life isn’t amazing—maybe 20 minutes on the highest power setting. I usually have to recharge it a couple of times to do the entire house, so that’s definitely worth noting.
The brush roll is a beast. No tangles, no snarls, and somehow it never got clogged, even with all the hair it sucked up. It handled tile and carpet like a pro — no need to waste time messing with settings or anything. And the attachments? Perfect for getting into weird spots like corners, under cabinets, sliding door tracks and tackling the couch.
Overall, it's not perfect, but for pet owners, it’s kind of a game-changer.

best for smooth surfaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the vacuum does a good job on smooth surfaces and ok on low pile area rugs. You do need to put it on the lowest setting to vacuum area rugs for it to work and not get stuck. The headlights are very bright showing all the hair, dust and crumbs. The vacuum was easy to put together, stands up on its own and doesn’t fall over like other stick vacuums I’ve used before. After testing the FurFinder tool on my dog bed it did suck up a good amount of hair but also got stuck and I had to switch it to the lowest setting. When I used it on our couch I didn’t feel like it did a good job getting the short hair from our boxer off the couch. I did use it on a thicker area rug and it did a good job pulling the hair up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bissell vacuum review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder. I will never go back to a vacuum without a light. It is essential for households with crumbs, toddlers and pets. It highlights everything. Another pro to this vacuum is that it sits upright when not in use. It will stand on its on which is nice. I love that it is cordless which makes it easy to clean all over the house, the stairs, the couch, and my car. I have rugs, hardwood and laminate and it worked on all surfaces. The 4 star rating is mainly because it doesn't quite have the suction power of my other stick vacuum. It's still an amazing vacuum for the price point and I recommend.

Good for a quick clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the vacuum performs well. I’ve used it on thin carpet, tile, and laminate floors. While the suction isn’t as strong as a corded vacuum, it’s more than sufficient for daily quick cleanups and definitely makes life easier. The battery lasts about 15–20 minutes, which is ideal for quick tasks.
The slim stick and head design are great for reaching under low furniture—a fantastic feature. It picks up dirt well, though it may take a few passes. After about 10 minutes, you do feel the weight, so it might not be ideal for those with weaker arms.
The two attachments are very useful, and I love that the docking station keeps them easily accessible. The built-in headlights are a game-changer, especially in low-light areas where you can really see the dust being picked up. Storage is also a breeze—its sleek design doesn't take up much room or look out of place.

A Pet Hair Hero for Your Home

It works across various floor types with good suction for everyday messes. The FurFinder tool is great for removing embedded pet hair from furniture, making a noticeable difference in managing pet shedding. It would be nice if there was a way to connect the two at the same time though. Its headlights illuminate hidden debris effectively, enhancing cleaning thoroughness. As a matter of fact this was my wife's favorite feature. Overall, this lightweight and self-standing vacuum is easy to maneuver and very effective at cleaning up everyday messes.

Convenient and Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great stick vacuum. It is able to get into tight, low spaces, and have a nice light on front to help see if there is any dirt hiding.
The FurFinder tool helped pull out embedded pet hair from my couch. Even though I couldn’t see any obvious hair prior to using, the debris canister filled up.
The headlight was very helpful in showing where the debris and hair on the ground was. Especially in tight spaces, it made cleaning much easier.
The vacuum was very easy to use. The dirt collection container is small and fills up quickly when there is a lot of hair or dirt, but it’s great for smaller jobs. It comes with a convenient wall attachment to store and charge the unit.
Overall, I am very happy with the vacuum. It is great for small jobs or tight locations but isn’t as helpful for a large room.

Great on Hard floors but lacking elsewhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try out this stick vacuum. We have a large black Newfoundland and 2 black cats - along with 2 young kids and a vacuum needs to be run daily.
This did a fantastic job at vacuuming up stray fur on our hard-surfaced floor, and I appreciated that it was cordless, so it made cleaning up messes quick and easy.
Unfortunately, I found this vacuum cumbersome to use on carpets to really clean up the embedded pet fur. The basic vacuum head is not good at vacuuming on carpets, and the furfinder head is small and takes a long time to fully clean the embedded pet fur from my rugs. The vacuum has 3 different power settings for the suction, and the first 2 do nothing to penetrate the rug. The third setting was difficult to push on the carpet and by the time I had cleaned a small portion of my rug satisfactorily, I was tired and the battery was nearly drained. I could do a cursory vacuum of a single floor of my house on 1 charge at the lower power setting, but it wouldn't last long on the higher setting, which is really what you need for the vacuum to work well. It also seems very heavy. Honestly, I'm not sure I would recommend this vacuum since there other options to clean hard floors and this isn't great at cleaning carpets.

Convenient but not the most powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start with the good: this vacuum is super lightweight and easy to use and navigate with. It has a light at the head which at first I thought was unnecessary but it actually is surprisingly useful and very functional— it helps you to see a lot of what otherwise might not be visible to the naked eye. I also love that it stands upright on its own. It’s easy to charge, and the charge lasts a pretty decent amount of time.
All this being said, however, the thing that matters most with a vacuum is suction, and this vacuum’s suction is just moderate. It will suck up the obvious, but you still have to do a couple of passes for a more soiled area, whether rugs or wood floors. I haven’t had any majorly embedded hair in rugs/carpets to test it on, but judging by how it does with a normal amount of debris, I’d be skeptical. That’s really my only complaint with this vacuum, but unfortunately it’s the most important factor, hence the 3 star rating.
I’d still recommend this for quick clean ups, but for most serious messes or for a deeper clean, I wouldn’t rely on this vacuum.
