Really comfortable. Get warranty

It’s the most comfortable ear buds I’ve ever owned. It’s so comfortable I didn’t notice I lost one side until it was too late. I had to order another set since there was no one just selling one side. So I suggest getting the warranty.

One ear bud keeps going out.

I like the earbuds, when they work. One ear piece keeps going out and I have to put them back in the case for them to both work again.

Impeccable comfort…

It’s been a few weeks since my purchase of the open ear buds, and all I have to say is that they are truly comfortable. The sound quality is always impeccable as you would expect from Bose. If these had the ability to do noise cancellation, then it would put these earbuds at yet another level. Other than that, best purchase I’ve made to date from them and have no regrets. Keep up the great work! You are all amazing!!!

The most comfortable earbuds with great sound

The most comfortable with great sound. I just got these about a week ago. The only thing I’ve noticed is my particular right earpiece doesn’t hold a charge as long and doesn’t seem to have the same volume level as the left, but I haven’t tried the calibration yet.

Not Suitable For My Environment

I bought this product primarily because it would be able to clip onto my ears and not fall out. I have difficulty with those other EarPods falling out of my ear. Also, to communicate and not having to hold my phone as I need both hands to do my work. I do not purchase this product to listen to music.
I work in a noisy environment, at an airport with airplanes coming and going, repairing airplanes and having to communicate with someone else in another area of the airplane, I am not able to hear what the other person is saying to me. This product, as far as I am concerned, is excellent for listening to music is a semi-quiet environment, not a noisy one. I need a product which can be inserted into my ear canal and be able to block out external noises and be noise cancelling.
Unfortunately, I am sorry but I will be returning this product.

I am sorry to hear that you have decided to return your Ultra Open Earbuds because they are not suitable for you.

If you are looking for in-ear earbuds with noise cancellation, these earbuds will indeed not be the best choice as they are not inserted in your ear (they will not block your ear canal), so you will still be able to hear your surroundings, and they don't offer noise cancellation.

Alternatively, I would suggest the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, which have the all the features you are looking for to place and receive phone calls.

Good sound. Comfortable. They don't fit my ears

They sound good. The issue is either they don't fit my ears properly or they need to be louder. The units might need to be a few millimeters deeper in my ear to be louder. When I press them down a bit they are a better volume. It's possibly an issue with my ears not the units.

I bought them and the ear buds wasn't loud enough and when I got a call. If you weren't sitting a certain way you could hear the other person talking.

Thanks for your review! Firmware update 4.0.22 was released to bring enhancements to your far-end call performance, via improved voice pickup. Try installing this update (or later) via the Bose app, and see if the issue improves.

Also, since our Bose OpenAudio technology directs rich, deep audio into the ear canal, be sure the earbuds are being worn properly. Proper fit is important for product comfort and performance. If the earbuds do not fit properly or the orientation is incorrect, it could lead to poor audio or mic performance.
