Best open ear earphones

It is what I would expect from a Bose product - innovative and stylish design. The price is premium for a small device but I think it’s worth it. It delivers on its advertised exceptional sound quality for an open ear earphone and ease of use. It also clips on the ear very comfortably and securely. I bought this to use at work and at the gym and it’s exceeded my expectation with regards to sound quality. Battery life is satisfactory as well - on stereo mode it lasts my ten hour work days, on immersion mode it lasts around 6 hours.
In summary, I knew what I wanted from an earphone which is to hear pleasant music while still being aware of the sounds around me and being able to have it on the ear comfortably for a long time. To potential buyers, I would advise to know what you’re getting and not from an open ear earphones. Open ear earphones and plugged in earphones have different benefits so there’s no point in comparing them. Don’t expect big bass nor noise cancellation as what plug in earphones have or the ones that almost completely block the ear canal.
I’ve been buying open ear earphones and this is the best.

Great Product!

I really love these earbuds and here is why. When I first opened them up and downloaded the app they automatically started the process to download and sync which I though was nice as I am not the greatest at navigating that kinda stuff. When I put them on my ears I was initially hesitant because of the way they fit however, they are very secure. I shook my head and bounced up and down and swayed back and forth and they DID NOT MOVE! I absolutely loved that. Secondly I am a middle aged female and am subject to lose stuff easily so this is definitely a plus for me. They are also so light you don't even know you have them on. I actually wear them all day! These are the perfect situational earbuds. They allow me to enjoy fantastic sound, and you are able to hear sounds around you like cars, babies etc. I have had several of the Bose brands over the years and they live up to the quality provided by the Bose brand. One thing I will say though I did have an issue where when using the phone someone said that I was not coming through clearly and it seemed that the volume was very low but I did find that I was wearing them too high up on my ears so I now wear them closer toward my earrings which centers them closer to my ear drum and can now hear better. I would also like to state that Bose company is constantly doing product upgrades to improve the functionality of the earbuds. Overall I love this product and I highly recommend it to others.

Simply Amazing Ultra Open Earbuds!!

I received these Bose Ultra Open Earbuds as a gift and I am impressed! The open ear concept is game changing and innovative! Sound quality is extremely important to me and these do not disappoint. The Immersive setting literally reminds me of surround sound system sitting in your ears. These earbuds are lightweight and did not cause me any pain especially after wearing them many hours each day. The unique design hold on to your ears without any problem. I have a very active lifestyle which includes running, mountain biking and cardio workouts and was skeptical about these holding up and not falling out unexpectedly. Once you put these in your ears and find the right spot, they don’t move! The only time one fell out is when I came home and my dog excitedly licked my face and ears and knocked one out.
There is no On/Off button on these. Once you put them in, they are technically “On” all the time. If your phone isn’t being used, they go into a standby mode until something happens (phone call, text message, email notification or any other type of notification) and then like magic, they are on and ready to work. The Ultra Open Earbuds have an amazing battery life on their own and have lasted me a full day of use (talking on the phone, streaming music and movies) without needing a charge in the middle of the day. When I go to bed, I drop them in the charging case and repeat the process again the next day. I’ve gone for 5 days without the need to recharge the case.
Again, these are an open ear design and allow you to be consciously aware of your surroundings. This is important especially if you are out in the public listening to music or talking to someone on the phone you can still hear what’s happening around you. I may have attended several company meetings while wearing these and still listening to my music and nobody around me could hear the music playing even when the volume was actually quite high…. During several phone calls I was sitting next to a colleague and he could not hear the caller I was talking to. I turned the volume all the way up and he leaned into me to see if he could hear the conversation and could only hear minor noise; not necessarily hearing and actual words. This is important to me since I spend 8-9 hours a day on the phone. I can still hear me colleagues talking to me while I’m on the phone.
I am not new, nor am I an amature to Bose Products. I have their original Bose BT2 Bluetooth headset, a really old pair of QC-3s (about 14 years old that my daughter is still using), QC-35 headphones (8 years old), the Headphones 700 I bought myself for Christmas, the Soundbar 500 and Soundbar 700 (with surround speakers and bass module), and several Bluetooth speakers. EVERYTHING still works as good as it did when it was brand new.
With that being said, these do not disappoint and are truly amazing earbuds & hold up to the Bose name, quality and cosmetically aesthetic designs!

One of the best earbuds I ever had

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Bose earbuds as a gift. I was thrilled with them. The sound is awesome. Fast charging and last very long compared to other earbuds that I’ve had in the past Apple earbuds I really like the volume that is not extremely high, but the quality of sound is awesome. Very comfortable. Almost don’t notice you have them in your ears for eight hours at work.

Finally found a pair of earbuds that stay on my ears and are comfortable. Previously I owned Beats and Apple
Pods and had discomfort after prolonged use. I find that the Bose ultra open earbuds provide great sound, great quality and stylish comfortable design.

The reason I bought these earbuds was to go on long walks in the busy city and these worked amazingly I can hear all my surroundings and my music at the same time this is a game changer and the sound quality is great for something that’s not too close to your ear

They don't charge half the time don't want to connect to my Samsung ultra 24. At this point was a waste of money.

Unique and welcomed addition to the Bose Family

I have truly been enjoying using my new Bose Ultra Open Earbuds! Once finding the correct fit on my ear (simply sliding up and down your ear), they have felt weightless and surprisingly snug around my ears. The comfort of the open ear design has been one of the biggest stand outs for me. I've had to check sometimes to make sure they were still there. With Bose's other earbud products, though the noise cancelling was phenomenal, I could never quite find the best fit and not feel pain using them for extended periods of time.
I love that I can be listening to music/radio/podcasts and still be able to be present when I'm at home with my children. The open ear design allows for better situational awareness that can be compromised with Noise cancelling features on other products. I've felt a lot more safer wearing these earbuds compared to my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones when I am riding the subway or walking through the busy New York streets.
The Immersion Audio feature on these earbuds really help them stand out from other earbud designs. You really do feel like the music is all around you, especially during indoor use. I highly recommend checking these out. They have been a great addition to my ever-growing family of audio products from Bose!
