I really love these earbuds. For some reason, I can’t wear other buds, but these are perfect.

I bought the ear buds and love everything about them. Unfortunately my ear lobes is larger than normal since I was younger. I have to return mines. I’m sad.

Bose is synonymous for quality. And, while the Bose Ultra Earbuds are definitely quality, there are drawbacks that could drive some away. While the small, sleek design is lightweight and comfortable to wear, putting them on can be a sometimes quirky and tedious process. Sound quality for videos is solid, but phone call volume is low (even cranked all the way up), and bleed from background noise can hinder some conversations. Audio for music is clear, but don't expect much bottom-end (bass) at all. Unfortunately, it's just not there. Also, the "Immersive Audio" is nice, but it drains the battery at an alarming rate. With it off, you're getting about seven and a half hours to eight hours. With it on however, you're getting between four to four and a half hours. For someone, like me, who wears them while working, it feels like as soon as your put them on, your battery is low, and they need to be re-charged. Maybe this can be fixed in a future firmware update. One can only hope. All in all, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are very nice, there is absolutely no doubt about it. But, the audio idiosyncrasies and inconsistences, middling battery life (with "Immersive Audio" on), and lack of depth in features could be just off-putting enough to keep some consumers at arm's length.

Hi. Thank you for your feedback. It is great that you are happy with the quality and sound of the earbuds. With the bass of the music, you can adjust this by following the steps here, https://bose.life/3PlXB24. You are correct about the battery life, but with the charging case holding 19.5 hours with a full charge, you can do a 10-minute quick charge that provides up to 2 hours of use. The Future of Earbuds?

I use earbuds every day, all day, and the most important tings that I have found needed for a good experience is fit, battery life and the ability for people to hear you clearly on phone calls. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds fit the bill in a very satisfying way. I usually only wear 1 earbud so I can stay attuned to the outside world and this works very well. The cuff-like earpiece take a little bit getting used to in finding proper placement but they are not going to fall out & they are very comfortable. I mainly use mine for talking, listening to podcasts & audiobooks and they exceed previous earbuds in this regard. I wear one all day long into the evening with no ear fatigue or discomfort. The battery life is fantastic one will last me all day long & I've only re-charged the case once after 4 days. The app is clean and easy to understand and was easy to register and pair my earbuds with and has different modes you can choose from. I do notice my volume slider is louder on these but that's because they are not shoved down your ear canal. They are a little on the pricey side as are most Bose Products but Bose is a premium product and well worth it.. overall I give them a 9 out of 10 with the 1 point taken away because of the price.

They are ok, comfortable. Sound is good, phone call compatibility with Apple IPhone is pretty terrible, considering finding a better solution as the phone is what I use them for the most.

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. It is great that you are happy with the comfort and sound of the earbuds.
These earbuds are compatible with iOS 15 or newer. Also, firmware update 4.0.22 was released to bring enhancements to your far-end call performance, via improved voice pickup. Try installing this update (or later) via the Bose app, and see if the issue improves.
If you need further assistance, please get in touch with us here: https://bose.life/3BgUIIU. We would love to help.

Uncomfortable ear buds

After a few weeks, the earbuds are uncomfortable and I have to take them off for a few hours. The sound is so low I can barely hear the music. I used the app to help raise the volume, but it’s still too low to hear much. So far, I’m not happy with these open ear buds.

I brought the Earbuds in February 2024 the volume is to low.
Response from bose.comBy Lau, Bose Customer Support, March 15, 2024
Hello,
I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds due to low volume.
By design, the open earbuds don’t block out the world or have noise cancelling, so they won't isolate you from outside noises like typical earbuds would. They do have an automatic volume control feature, accessible in the Bose Music app, that helps you hear your music evenly as your environment changes from quiet to loud and back.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our team: https://bose.life/contact
Best regards, Lau - Customer Support
