[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two months ago to use while working out. The sound quality is great, I’m able to hear the music clearly and can still hear the surroundings. Ear buds fit great and stay in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since 1980 I've been a Bose fan. Purchasing the Bose 901s for my home stereo system while I was in the USAF stationed in Bentwaters/Woodbridge USAFE UK. Later my daughter gave me Bose headphones, and after that I purchased a Bose sound bar for my flat screen tv. When Bose released the new ear buds I had to have them and purchased a pair for my wife as well! Her response was "the best thing I didn't know I'd love" which I knew would happen.

a life saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent thousands of bucks on all kinds of earbuds/headphones over the past few years but none of them really work for me: either the base is too loud, or the headphone is too large or tight, or the earbuds are easy to fall off... until the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds is coming to my life! It's really a life saver. I have long term ear problems: tinnitus and other symptoms that TMD causes, which prevented me from wearing regular earbuds for long, BUT, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds literally saved my life!!! Now I can wear them all day long without even feeling them, and the sounds just feel perfect. Thank you, Bose, heartful thanks.

A must have, if you need them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While they are not without their problems, they have become indispensable to me. I have sensitive, small, and maybe oddly shaped ear canals, and they are the only headphones I can wear for more than a few minutes, nonetheless all day. They do chafe the ear a little where they attach but I have had no issues with them staying on when running or during the day, and have even forgotten I was wearing them before which I previously believed not possible. I normally wear bone conduction for daily needs, but the portability and sound quality of these just blows that out of the water— conveniently small like any modern headphones but being usable by me a decent sound. They do have some durability concerns. The case and headphones feel a little flimsy. I have also had some connectivity issues which I ended up getting a warranty replacement for. My main star off though is the lack of wireless charging, which is so standard at this price point that I was shocked. I have considered the adaptor but it’s a lot extra to add bulk to something I wanted for portability. The multi-connect also works passably so these have been great for work and personal use with Teams and phone calls as well as videos and music. I definitely recommend them (and have) to those of us with fit issues on regular headphones who don’t always want an over-ear experience.

Great audio buds

Like the clear crisp audio and soft hearing with them.they are never to loud and fits perfectly over the ear.i use them for symphony and rock music i would purchase them for anyone who likes the sound and style thank you.

Great comfort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually love the Ultra Open Earbuds. I love the comfort and the sound quality. I love that I can put them on my 8 year olds ears and she won't get uncomfortable. Music is one of the few things that help he regulate her emotions when ask other tactics fail. So when she gets over stimulated I can put one of the earbuds on her ear, a little further from her ear canal (which is another thing I like!) and the benefits are immediate. I also enjoy being able to keep them on and knowing that someone is talking to me so I can pause whatever I'm listening to to interact with whomever has interrupted my studies (it's usually a welcome interruption. Otherwise I'd use nose canceling!). Music also helps me with social anxiety, so being able to use these in crowded stores without missing when someone has directed their choice toward me, is a huge benefit. And when my headphones suddenly stopped charging after a very short period of time, the process to have them replaced (under warranty) was quick and painless!
This sounds like a 5 star review. I know. I see it too. So let me explain the missing star. I actually bought 2 sets. The first set just to see if I even like it, and the 2nd set as a package deal with a bose surround sound speaker that popped up the same day our don't went out. Two things I don't like: 1. Bose has an app that I use with my quiet comfort that allows me to share music between two sets of headphones. I actually found the open ear because I was looking for a 2nd pair to share audio. These don't use that same app and lack that technology. Huge number. But the second issue is the one that really was the missing star. The ultra open earbuds and the sound bar rarely remain connected for more than 5 minutes at a time. I have to constantly re connect them to both the new app and the soundbar. This is frustrating because I bought it for this purpose. Too reduce noise at night so my kids can sleep while I'm studying with the TV on. This is also why I have yet to purchase the 2nd sound system for my bedroom tv. Why but it if the keep factor doesn't work? The headphones themselves are probably 5 star, as long as you don't plan on using them with the sound bar and are chill with giving your friend or kid one of your ear pieces for music share. Also remember that these are not meant to be noise canceling. So if your only research is reviews, here's your warning. They are OPEN earbuds. You will still hear the world around you. But there have been times where I was so comfortable in my headphones that when a song came on after a calm pause I panicked and whipped around in the grocery store thinking there was a man whispering in my ear. Scared the crud out of me!
