Image upgrade is a plus. Camera is frequently following ghosts. Waypoints are set and the home position is selected but camera changes home waypoint randomly. Frustrated.
Always like Wyze products (I have 7 cams) however this model has a serious flaw for the Waypoints. It's a known issue where the cam will pan to the waypoint and immediately go back to the home waypoint. I have searched through numerous Reddit threads and Google feeds and apparently wise is a aware of the issue but all of the fix is such as clearing the waypoints rebooting the camera removing the auto steering remove it in the automations simply don't work to correct the problem.
Video has been very laggy when using SD but the resolution is nice and high. Of course that's one of the main reasons I got it. night vision is better. The field of view is noticeably worse though than the regular V4.
The camera hardware is fine but the cloud clips captured with the new camera version will not download. The app shows error after error even though I’m subscribed to “Cam Unlimited”. Unlimited clips that I cannot download because their cloud service is incredibly and consistently buggy. I’ve tried over multiple days and the cloud files always throw errors. Fix it Wyze. Glitch after glitch has me thinking about going back to Arlo.
